The Junior Olympic Championships is the US national championships for Cadet and Junior fencers. This year it took place in Baltimore, Maryland on February 15-18, 2013.
Once again, both Alliance’s Junior Women’s and Men’s epee teams became US National Champions.
Our cadet fencer Ari Simmons became a Junior National Champion in the individual competition. Another cadet fencer Madeline Antekeier took bronze in juniors and Youth-14 fencer Gigi Vierheller took bronze in the cadet individual event.
Over all during four days of competition Alliance brought home 8 medals and 9 fencers earned national points!!!
