2016 November North American Cup
Milwaukee, Wisconsin / November 11-14, 2016

Alliance was busy this weekend in Milwaukee as well as at the Senior World Cup in Suzhou, China!!

Albert Landa earned his B 2016 rating!! Madeline Antekeier earned her A 2016 rating!!

Teams:

The Cadet Women’s Epee Team consisted of Adriana Friederich, Jessica Liang, Ariana Rausch and Talia Weiss. The girls won their first bout, but sadly lost their second bout. The finished 5th in the competition.

The Cadet Men’s Epee Team had three different teams representing Alliance at this competition. Team 1 consisted of Mike Bissinger, Eliot Herbst, Isaac Herbst and Jonathan Piskovatskov. Team 1 got a bye into the first round, the proceeded to win the next three matches before losing in the gold medal bout 45-39. Great job, guys!! Team 2 consisted of Alex Cope, Tarun Nair and Will Smith. Team also got a bye into the next round, then won their next bout before losing to the team that would later take gold. Team 3 consisted of Andrew Graber, Ark Ma and Evan Xu. Team 3 (definitely our young team from Alliance this weekend!) fought hard to win their first bout 36-34! Then also lost to the gold winning team!!

Great big shout-out to our fencers who represented Alliance in the team events. Thank you guys and girls!!!
