Ari Simmons made top 64 at the Grand Prix, and solidified his spot on the Senior National Team Championship that will take place in Moscow, Russia. “After a 5-1 pool result, Simmons also advanced directly to the table of 64 where he fenced Boczko who held a 7-6 lead after the first period and was up 12-10 after the second. Simmons tied the bout at 12 in the third, but Boczko answered with a pair of singles. Simmons scored another single to cut Boczko’s lead to 14-13 before the Hungarian doubled for a 15-14 win.”-usfencing.org
