We typically recommend adults start with a private lesson package. Please email us directly at inform@alliance-fencing-academy.com for more information on our adult programs.

What comes after the Beginner’s Course?

It all depends on your own individual preferences. You can choose to become a recreational or a competitive fencer, but either way Alliance will provide you with the classes, coaching, and practice you need to succeed in the sport.

For youth fencers who choose to begin fencing competitively, we recommend coming to train at the club three times a week. For cadet/junior/senior fencers (fencers from the age of 15 and up), we recommend practicing 3-6 times a week. After the completion of the Beginner’s Course you will be asked to start purchasing your own fencing equipment and you will be paying for your training on a monthly basis.

To become an Alliance member, there is a $350 individual or $600 family annual club membership. For more information about our training programs and fees please see the “Schedule and Fees” link on the menu above.
