Beginners Course

Ages 5-8:

Designed for kids ages 5-8 who love “to play with the swords.” Kids will learn basic fencing rules and technique. They will be fencing each other using specially designed youth fencing gear that is lighter and made of plastic, rather than metal. During these classes kids will also play different warm-up games, learn fencing drills, and perform stretching and coordination exercises.

Please come with a t-shirt, long sweatpants, and tennis or volleyball shoes.

Please bring an extra t-shirt (to change after practice).

Cost:

$125 / one-time payment / two classes / 1.5 hour each class
Fencing equipment is provided

Ages 9 and up:

Designed for new fencers ages 8 and up who would like to try sport of fencing for the first time.

Please come with a t-shirt, long sweat pants, and tennis or volleyball shoes. Please bring an extra t-shirt (to change after practice). The Beginners Course covers introduction to the sport of fencing, basic fencing techniques, and learning how to bout with other fencers.

$125 / one-time payment / two classes / 1.5 hour each class

Homeschool Class:

Exclusively designed for homeschoolers in the Houston area.

Cost:

$125 / month / one class a week / 1.5 hour each class
Fencing equipment is provided for the first month

Adult Class:

Designed exclusively for beginner/intermediate fencers (working adults and fencing parents) who would like to learn fencing. For additional classes, open fencing sessions, and/or private lessons please contact us for more information.

Cost:

$125 / one-time payment / 2 classes / 1.5 hour each class
Fencing equipment is provided

Individual Lessons & Group Classes for Visitors:

Designed for experienced non-Alliance fencers who occasionally visit our club and would like to take an individual lesson with one of our coaches or participate in a group lesson.

Cost:

Individual lesson:
$60 / 25-30 minutes,
Group class:
$35 / one hour + open fencing
